Latvian International Rotary Charity Ball, dedicated to the 99th Anniversary of the foundation of the Latvian state took place November 17, 2017 at the Riga Latvian Society House.
The ball is organized by Rotary clubs of Latvia under the supervision of Riga Ridzene Rotary Club. It is widely recognized by society and has developed into the largest open national celebration event that brings the spirit of patriotic pride, social cohesion and cooperation. The Ball’s charity donations this year reached a substantial sum which will be spent to restore the historic house where the event takes place as it is an important national heritage element.
